Beliefs 19–22 move from the character of YHWH to the conduct of His people. Believers of the Way United teaches that YHWH is inherently, eternally, and unconditionally good. His goodness is not weakness; it is the foundation of His mercy, covenant faithfulness, justice, and desire for His people to turn and live.
Because YHWH is good, His people are called to reflect His character through righteous work, diligent labor, and faithful stewardship. Good works do not earn salvation, but they are the necessary fruit of living faith. Work itself is not a curse, but a divine calling rooted in creation. Likewise, wealth, resources, time, and possessions belong ultimately to YHWH, and we are called to manage them with honesty, generosity, wisdom, and accountability.
19. THE GOODNESS OF GOD
The belief that YHWH is inherently, eternally, and unconditionally good — not merely powerful or sovereign, but genuinely benevolent toward his creation. His goodness is the foundation of his covenant, the motive of his mercy, the source of every blessing, and the ground of every human hope. YHWH does not delight in the destruction of the wicked but desires that all turn to him and live.

20. RIGHTEOUS WORK
The belief that YHWH calls his people to produce righteous works — not as the means of earning salvation, but as the necessary fruit of a living faith and a transformed life. Good works are the evidence of genuine covenant relationship with YHWH, the expression of love for neighbor, and the practical demonstration of the kingdom of YHWH in the world. Faith without works is dead.

21. THE DIGNITY OF WORK
The belief that work is not a curse but a divine calling — instituted by YHWH before the fall, honored throughout the Scriptures, and essential to human dignity, purpose, and flourishing. YHWH himself is a worker, and he created human beings in his image to cultivate, build, and steward his creation. Diligence, excellence, and integrity in one’s vocation are acts of worship and service to YHWH.

22. FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP
The belief that all wealth, resources, and material possessions belong ultimately to YHWH — their Creator and owner. Human beings are stewards, not ultimate owners, of what YHWH has entrusted to them. Faithful stewardship of finances includes honesty in earning, generosity in giving, wisdom in spending, freedom from debt, care for the poor, and the rendering of tithes and offerings to YHWH as an act of worship, trust, and covenant faithfulness.
