Beliefs 8–10 establish the hope of the believer in the resurrection rather than in the idea of an immortal soul living apart from the body. Believers of the Way United teaches that death is a state of unconsciousness, silence, and non-existence.
Patience is the disciplined capacity to endure difficulty, delay, or provocation without losing composure, faith, or purpose. In Hebrew thought Erech Apayim literally means “long of nose” — a vivid image of one who does not flare up quickly. Patience is not passivity — it is active trust in YHWH’s timing.
Beliefs 5–7 establish how Believers of the Way United understands YHWH, Yeshua the Messiah, and the Holy Spirit. We begin with the confession that YHWH is absolutely one and indivisible.
The first four beliefs of Believers of the Way United establish the foundation for how we understand Scripture, creation, and the human person. We begin with the conviction that YHWH has spoken — not through mechanical dictation, but through inspired thoughts, revelations, and divine truth communicated to the hearts and minds of chosen writers.
We are Believers of the Way United, and we exist for the seeker, the doubter, the disillusioned, and the devoted. We exist for everyone who is willing to do the hard and holy work of unlearning, learning, and relearning.
